IES SIERRA MINERA, Spain.
Hi! Our school is IES SIERRA MINERA, in Murcia, south Spain. Our names are Mamen, Mari Carmen, Isabel, Marta and Dolores and we're English teachers at Sierra Minera Secondary School. Our students are 13-14 years old, they are studying Compulsory Secondary Education, years 2 and 3. They are really excited with this project and with the idea of sharing our culture and traditions with students abroad as well as discussing a topic of paramount importance as it is the topic of SUSTAINABILITY.
ATATÜRK SECONDARY SCHOOL, TÜRKİYE
Hi everyone! We are a secondary school in Gaziantep, Türkiye. It's Duygu. I have been teaching English here for 6 years. My students are also 13-14 years old. They live in a disadvantaged region of the city, in poor conditions. They are very excited to meet new cultures and to learn and search about Sustainability. This topic is really intriguing for them.
I.C.A.VIVALDI ROME ITALY
Hi everyone,
our school is called A.Vivaldi and is located on the coast very close to our capital Rome. We are Anna, Maria Federica and Valeria , respectively English, Italian and Spanish Teachers. Our students are 11-14 years old and they attend a middle school.
They can follow different programmes like learning a musical instrument in the music section or practicing more English in the CLIL section. They can also empower their digital school in the 4.0 section. During the year they can have some swimming lessons and and can practice sport in the gym. Neverthless they have just a few chances to practice their English and so eTwinning is a great opportunity for them. Thanks to eTwinning we have created a big connection with other students and teachers opening our school to friendship ,respect and intercultural exchange.
This year we are very enthusiastic about this project about Sustainability and we will do our best!
Good Luck everybody!

A Manifesto in Spanish against Fast Fashion Class 3 C Italy Global Goal n.12
FEBRUARY: SDG 8, 9 and 11.
Students from different European countries work together to discover, compare, and promote positive actions in their local communities. They collaborate in international teams and create one shared digital product to raise awareness about local businesses, inclusion, safety, and sustainability.
step 1: create mixed groups with different countries
step 2: create a padlet in which each group will be commenting and working collaboratively. Each student will need to take a picture of their town in which we can see some local businesses. They need to write how many local businesses are in their neighbourhood and if they usually buy there or if they prefer other big / chain businesses and why. Include a little reflection answering the following questions:
1-Why are local jobs and small businesses important for our community?
2-How can new ideas or technology make our town or city better?
3-What places in your town are good for everyone, including people with disabilities?
4-How can we help make our community safer for all people?
5-What can young people do to improve their city or neighbourhood?
step 3: Read their partners’ texts. Comment using simple sentences (e.g. “In my town we also have, I also think,…”)
step 4: write a short group reflection on Twinspace Forum
Select roles for each group with tasks.
-Coordinator: will create the canva and share with the rest of the partners (they can send the link to the teacher and the teacher will send it to the rest of members via padlet)
-Moderator: this student will make sure all partners are behaving properly.
Each student will write a couple of sentences reflection on what they have learnt with this activity and how important it is to support local businesses, how important is to have places in our town that include everyone…
